What are your cancellation policies?
Riverstone advises making advance reservations at any of our Inns since frequently we are 100% occupied. Reservations are either (1) a 4 p.m. hold, or (2) they are guaranteed with a major credit card.
(1) 4 p.m. Hold Reservation
You may book a room for regular arrival (before 4 p.m.) without a “guarantee.” If you do not register at the Inn by that time (or call us to place a guarantee), your room will simply be rented to someone else.
(2) “Guaranteed” Reservation
You may also guarantee the room for late arrival with a major credit card. This means you have in effect purchased that room for the night. No matter how late you arrive, or even if you do not arrive at all, The Great Falls Inn will not rent that room for that night to anyone else. If your plans change and you notify us prior to 4 p.m. on the day of the reservation, you will not be charged. BUT IF YOU GUARANTEE AND DO NOT CANCEL BY 4 P.M., YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ONE NIGHT’S STAY -- WHETHER OR NOT YOU OCCUPY THE ROOM

What if I check in early, or stay beyond check-out time?
The Great Falls Inn will make every effort to accommodate your schedule. Normal check-in time is 3 p.m., and checkout time is 11 a..m.
Occasionally, guests arrive prior to check-in time. If a guest room of the type you requested is available you will be issued a key immediately. Sometimes, however, housekeepers may still be cleaning the rooms to make them as fresh as you would want them, and you might have to wait a little while. In this case, you are invited to store luggage in the Manager’s office and either go about your business, or wait in the lobby with our fresh perked coffee and current reading materials until the room is ready. Usually, this is only a short wait.
It is not uncommon for guests to want to stay beyond 11 a.m. on the day of checkout. We ask that you notify the Front Desk of your plans ahead of time. If your extra time in the room amounts to a hour or two, under normal circumstances this is no problem. But if your extra time in the room extends past 1 p.m., then our housekeeping staff must make special arrangements to clean the room for the next guest –AND WE WILL NEGOTIATE A SMALL CHARGE FOR YOUR EXTRA TIME IN THE ROOM.
The key to successfully managing any departures from normal check-in and check-out times is to communicate with the Front Desk ahead of time. We are here to meet your needs, but we must also be mindful of other guests who expect the same level of Riverstone service that you do.

Do you have a restaurant or swimming pool?
Riverstone Inns do not have restaurants or swimming pools. Not everyone wants, or wants to pay for, such extras. By saving construction and operation costs on these items, we are able to keep room rates at Riverstone Inns to the lowest practical level.
The Great Falls Inn does serve a continental breakfast consisting of juice, premium coffees by Cravens, teas, whole grained breads and toast, mini-muffins, doughnuts, apples, butter, peanut butter and jellies. Coffee and tea is served in the lobby 24 hours per day. Every afternoon, our staff serves freshly popped popcorn in the lobby.
Please refer to our Hospitality Partners page on this website for restaurant recommendations. These referrals have been screened and selected as meeting the same high standards that The Great Falls Inn does. In some cases, these restaurants will offer you – as a valued guest of The Great Falls Inn – discounts, upgrades, or complimentary items.
Inquire about using our Hospitality Partners program upon check-in.

Is The Great Falls Inn restricted to only medically-related guests?
No. Because of our proximity to Benefis Healthcare and the Great Falls Clinic, we do serve guests who are in Benefis Healthcare and the Great Falls Clinic for medical reasons. But The Great Falls Inn is a mainstream hotel with a diverse, integrated clientele, and we are open to all guests whatever the reason for your visit to town.

What kind of security precautions does The Great Falls Inn offer?
The Great Falls Inn is very security conscious. For example, all guest rooms open to interior corridors, and we maintain staff on premises 24 hours per day. There is only one public entrance and exit, in plain view of the hotel’s front desk. This entrance is locked early in the evening to provide additional security. Your hotel keycard will provide access, and there is a phone link to the front desk for late arrivals. [The hotel does have a secondary exit, but it is locked from the outside and is for emergency egress only.]
For your own protection, The Great Falls Inn requests that you leave no personal belongings visible in your car when parking in our lot.

- Never leave your pet unattended.
- Respect the quiet atmosphere of the establishment.
- Inquire at the desk about plastic bags to “scoop your poop”!
