 The Great Falls Inn is just a few minutes (1.5 miles) from the fabulous Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center situated high above the historic Great Falls of the Missouri, 1.5 miles from the Charlie Russell Museum of Art downtown, and equidistant from Giant Springs State Park. World class trout fishing can be found on the Missouri River, just a short drive south of town. The Ulm Pishkun Buffalo Jump and historic monument is approximately 15 miles south, with Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks and Montana’s Charlie Russell country all within a day’s drive.
Other attractions include the River’s Edge Trail and Park, the Electric City Water Park, and two golf courses – all just a few minutes’ drive. Skiing at Showdown, 60 miles south of town, provides excellent conditions and challenging runs. The Great Falls Inn is five blocks east of The University of Great Falls, one half mile from McLaughlin Research Institute, and approximately one mile west of Malmstrom Air Force Base.
If you are a sports fan, Great Falls offers the White Sox (Pioneer League baseball), as well as a semi-pro football team. Shoppers can browse downtown’s collection of unique retail opportunities, or head for one of the malls just a few miles west of the hotel.
